Dogsters, if you love taking photos of your dogs (or anything else), and want to have a fantastic tool to perfect the photos, organize them, and share them, you’ll love Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3. It’s an application that’s revered by professional photographers but is simple enough for amateurs to easily grasp to make the most of their photos.
I’ve been able to turn Jake from a grainy blob to a sleek blond with the click of a key. (Some days, I could use this feature on myself in real life.) I’ve put together slide shows, created awesome art shots, and streamlined all my photos, as well. Lightroom 3 has a ton of useful features, most of which I haven’t gotten to yet, and is Windows and Mac friendly. Check out the Lightroom 3 website to get more details.
The software sells for $299, but it can be yours for free if you are our lucky contest winner! To enter, write a comment below about anything related to taking photos of your dog. You can talk about how your dog never sits still long enough for you to take a photo, or about how your pooch is a camera hog, or how you could take photos of your dog all day, or how your dog ate your camera. Anything about your dog and photography will do.
The deadline for submissions is 8 p.m. PST, Tuesday, March 14. We will do a random drawing of all qualifying entries, and announce the winner on Thursday, March 16. Only one entry per household, please.
You will love this software. Thanks to Adobe for the generous donation for the contest!
(Here’s a very small version of what is on my screen when I’m playing around on the software. It usually takes up my whole screen. It’s really coolio.)
