I just got word from Dogster editor Janine Kahn that today is “What if Cats and Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs?” Day. That’s a new one on me! If Jake had opposable thumbs, he would probably figure out the fridge and freezer thing pretty quickly. I think he’d also learn to drive, so he could take himself to his favorite parks when I’m too busy. I would only ask for a little help opening jars of spaghetti sauce in return for the car keys.
